Measurements of Multistrange Baryon Resonances in STAR at RHIC A large fraction of particles emanating from high-energy particle collisions are often decay products of primary higher-mass resonances. A clear understanding of the feed-down contributions to the ground state spectra and yields is crucial to the understanding of primary particle dynamics. We present measurements of transverse momentum spectra and mid-rapidity yields of the multistrange baryon resonance Xi(1530) produced in p+p collisions at sqrt(s)_{NN}=200 GeV in the STAR experiment at RHIC. The Xi* spectra and yields will be compared with measurements of the ground state Xi baryon spectra and yields from the same detector to gain insight into the resonance feed-down contributions.
