Medium Modifications of the Delta Resonance at RHIC

The impact of a hadronic medium at finite temperature and baryon 
density on the Delta(1232) resonance is assessed within a many-body 
approach. Based on a realistic phenomenological description of the 
Delta in vacuum, its interactions with surrounding baryons and mesons, 
including formation of excited resonances, are computed. Applications
to STAR data from RHIC will be discussed.
