Pion, Kaon and Proton (Anti-proton) production in Au+Au collisions at \sqrt(s_NN) = 62.4 GeV In 200 GeV Au+Au collisions at RHIC, a scaling according to the number of constituent quarks in a hadron seems to govern the particle production and elliptic flow at intermediate p T . This observation can be explained by coalescence of constituent quarks at hadronization from a collective partonic system. We extend our study of this mechanism and the bulk properties at lower energies from the recent 62.4 GeV Au+Au collisions at RHIC. Particle identification at low and intermediate pT is from Time Projection Chamber and Time of Flight system at STAR. In this talk, we will present the spectra and nuclear modification factor of Pion, Kaon and Proton (Anti-Proton) production as a function of the collision centrality and transverse momentum. Model comparison with coalescence approach results will be made.
